I just wanted to throw this out to you guys, I'm helping with the Four Peaks Pickup again this year. If any of you are active shooters or would just like to help keep an area clean that is horribly abused, please come and join us!

Trash bags will be supplied, but if you want to bring your own feel free. Please bring gloves, lots of nasty sharp stuff, and any brass/garbage picker you have. Lots of little stuff will break your back by the end of the day without one of these. Great job for the kids!

Pictures from last year:

Just so you get an idea of how much trash we pull out of this area, this was one of four:

First I've heard of such an event! Sounds like an AWESOME way to spend a day outside.

If I'm understanding it right, do you just walk along the roadside pickin up trash? Or do you get out on some trails? Does it help to have your own truck?

I apologize I should of made this more clear. A lot of the rd is just dirt, so most vehicles should be fine, the areas that are further away would definitely be better for something with at least some ground clearance. You make a difference where you can, the shooting areas are always the worst and the ones closest to the pavement can usually use more pickup help than we have hours to give it in a day. So just come and we'll do our best to guide you where you can be helpful.

If you have a truck please bring it. We make trash runs to the big dumpsters and are usually lacking in pickups.

There will be no shooting allowed during the cleanup and the sheriff will be on site to insure that. That usually isn't a problem though since we pretty much dominate the area.

Sounds like it would be fun. I'll volunteer my truck, as long as I still have it! There's a certain someone that is trying to convince me that I NEED an RS6! If I fall for it, no more truck!

It does sound like a worth while thing to do but we are open on Saturday's. Good luck with the turn out.

Just adding a note if people can't join us please donate if you can. Anything will help. We have lunch covered at this point, but still need money for supplies. Click the flier above and you can donate on the site. Thanks!

I may be able to come and help out. If so, I can bring a truck and maybe a few others with trucks as well. Will let you know. I love going to that area and would be more than happy to help clean it up.

For those that come and want to say hi, I'll be in the big blue fj cruiser with the sierra expeditions banners on the side. Can't miss it.

I think that may be my RS6 that a certain someone is trying to convince you that you NEED. I agree it needs a good home. I miss it...
